As told by Hailey. . .

Once, me, Hailey, lost a tooth! This was in June. This was Saturday. Which was yesterday. Guess what the tooth fairy left me? It was a dollar!! I didn't see the tooth fairy come last night. That's why you have to go to sleep, so the tooth fairy will come.

This is how it happened:

It started out with me figuring out about the tooth, and then Dad figured out the tooth was loose since it ached so much. And then, just for fun, I bit the string of Dad's pants and whacked the tooth really good, and then that night at Sky's and Macie's (our new neighbors) I ate these crackers and I didn't like them, and then I had gold fish and I realized it wasn't good for my tooth, and then it got really really really loose. And then the other morning it came out! Dad had to pull the floss twice. And the first time it hurt, and I was kind of scared, and then mom came and sat with me by the chair, and then with one cry and scream, and it came out!

And then we went for breakfast to a bakery to celebrate, and we went to the mall to go sit by the fountains, but it was too cold, so we sat inside. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a shortbread cookie. But the cookie dropped on the ground.

I wonder what the tooth fairy does with the teeth. I was thinking that the tooth fairy grinds them up and makes them into salt, but I thought my teeth don't taste salty, and mom thought that was a good point. So then I thought that she probably makes them into soup. Well, that was the story of my loose tooth. Now it's out from the yanking and pulling, and I hope another loose tooth is on the way.

Love, Hailey
