After commencement on Sunday, we went to the Dental School luncheon, where the diplomas were actually being presented. This was the fourth official function that we had dragged the girls to in a two day span, and I am pleased to say that the heavens opened out a blessing and the girls were angels.
Here they are at their fancy place-settings eating roasted tomatoes and a feta cheese-topped salad. Angels, I tell you.
Hailey totally approved of the cheesecake. The first time I heard her use the word "delectable."
Nora doing what she has rarely done before, falling asleep in a public place. Unfortunately, she also left a large drool puddle right on the front of my dress, which I sported around the rest of the day.
The Graduates.
The wives. And introducing my fat belly. And Abby, there are the shoes that look like faberge eggs.
And some of the proud kids.
You'll have to read back to completely understand the significance of these last photos. The luncheon was at the Pfister Hotel, which was the same hotel we had Sr. Ball at. Hailey was so excited to finally see the place where we went to the ball, and full circle, was able to finally see the most desirable bathroom.

aaah, those were the days. I'm sure the whole experience was just a little more satisfying wearing The Shoes.
